Planning for Technology

This week's activity was incorporating technology into a lesson plan. Lesson planning in general forces you to distill your ideas and consider every detail that goes in to a lesson. I think some people might view technology as just another detail to consider, but it could also be viewed as a tool to achieve the goal of the lesson. I think in the future, using technology in the classroom will become so routine that we won't have to make a "special" plan for it. After all, the students are so used to googling and downloading that it would be strange to not incorporate these tools in the learning process. The lesson of being a responsible digital citizen is an important one and proper "netiquette" should be covered as well.
