Goals for this course

Currently, I am only moderately proficient when it comes to technology. I know how to do a few recreational things but not much. Through this course, I want to become more comfortable using technology in a professional capacity. Today's students are already pretty knowledgeable about most media, so it makes sense that using technology in the classroom puts a subject like math into a form they would respond to and understand. My goal is to use technology as a way to enhance learning not to replace learning. Calculators can only give you the right answer if you know what buttons to push.
