I was already a little familiar with editing digital images from my camera on the computer as I am an avid amateur photog. However, this lesson was beneficial in that it opened my eyes to the wide world of online images and tools. I really like the idea of some kind of online photo project where students can post pictures of where they see evidence of math in their everyday life. I think this would be especially fun in a geometry class, or a lesson on slope. I truly believe that a picture is worth a thousand words, unless of course the image is more than 72 resolution...then maybe it's worth 1500 words.
