Creating a website is not as intimidating as I had thought. Google sites does make it pretty easy to build one. I do like how you can create a site and control who gets to see it. Having a classroom website is a really easy way to stay organized. You can set it up to help students stay on track by posting a schedule or syllabus as well as links to resources. It can also serve to be a central location for parents to keep track of their child's assignments and view projects. Creating a website can also serve as a digital portfolio for future employment or evaluations. This format just lends itself to many possibilities.
